AI CONCEPT / RESIDENTIAL
THE IDEA
> PROMPTA mountain house in Lebanon organised around a single courtyard, with thick stone walls, deep timber screens and every room opening to the sky.
The question: how does a family home stay cool, private and full of light on a sloping mountain plot, without turning its back on the view?
The exploration places one generous courtyard at the centre. Living spaces wrap around it, local stone holds the heat of the day, and cedar screens filter the low evening sun.
Next step: test the courtyard proportions against the real site and the orientation of the slope.
